How to Sheet Mask

I got out of the habit of using face masks over Winter but now that Spring is in the air and the current situation means that we all have a bit more free time on our hands, I've rebooted the mask obsession! Here are my top tips on using sheet masks... I’ll be the first to admit that when sheet masks first hit the beauty scene I was intimidated yet intrigued. I'd always been familiar with the skincare masks that came in tubs and tubes which you slather all over your face. Afterwards, these often involved a clean up operation of the inevitable mess left behind all over your hands and bathroom, then the annoying process of having to pick it out of your hair after washing it off…totally worth it! Support British Flowers

In a World where we are becoming more and more concerned with where our food is sourced and how products can be grown sustainably, we often neglect to spare a thought for cut flowers.

Like food, inevitably there are many sourcing challenges and currently 90% of the UK's flowers are imported. The resultant energy costs, transportation pollution and pesticide use means that it is worth thinking about where you purchase your next bouquet of flowers from.

Fortunately, there are several sustainable options out there. A growing number of florists are making progress and changing the way in which flowers are grown and exported, having a positive impact on every step in the supply chain. Buying Fairtrade flowers is a good option. However, for the most sustainable option we need to turn our attention to the blooms grown on our doorstep and support British Flowers.

By buying British we are choosing seasonal flowers that are also helping to support biodiversity in the countryside that we are so proud of. The Great British Florist are committed to promoting British Flowers and helping rejuvenate our flower farms. Across the UK they already provide a rich tapestry of habitats for bees, butterflies, bugs and birds so it's a win win situation.

Here's their stunning bouquet of the week.
