Focus on what's really important... YOU
Sometimes it can be hard to feel our best, both emotionally and physically, as the daily grind of stresses and strains do their best to exhaust us and beg us to question what is
really important? Sometimes we tend to neglect our true aspirations and what really inspires us, making it difficult for us to stick to the daily routines that keep us on level ground and establish stability in our lives. If we maintain just one daily task to strengthen our true selves, we will begin to find more balance in the crazy times of life.
Here are some beneficial habits to incorporate daily. Start by picking one, and build on from there...
Morning.
The beginning of a new day. A fresh start. The ability to create a day however you like:
Start the morning with a mantra: "I am going to make today an amazing day." "Today is a new start and I am going to make it epic."
When you wake up don't reach straight for your phone. Instead, lie in bed for five minutes, with one hand on your stomach the other on your heart and practice slow breathing.
Throughout the Day.
Sometimes we can let the outside world affect how we feel about ourselves, such as, our confidence in how we look and our capability of dealing with certain people or situations. Forge your own path and forget about what everyone else is doing.
Remind yourself of how amazing you are. Say something like: "I am awesome and capable of handling anything that life throws at me" "I am beautiful and can achieve great things in all aspects of my life"
Evening.
Take the time for a bath and some self care rituals which might include: a face mask, making a cup of tea and allowing the time to truly relax. Don't scrimp on the simple things - it shows in everything you do including your confidence and how others treat you.
Always remember that you are beautiful and unique, you are worthy and have everything to offer the world. Sometimes life gets the better of us and times can be hard, We are constantly made to feel as though we are never enough or there is always something we need to change about ourselves. Ultimately, what it comes down to is mindfulness and caring for yourself.
